NeuroApp is a focus and digital wellbeing app developed as a senior design project.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
- Usage data: Focus sessions, screen time summaries, app blocking settings, and related app activity needed to provide core features.
- Device data: Basic device information for app functionality and optional account sync.
How We Use Information
- To provide focus sessions, app blocking, and usage insights
- To sync account-related features when signed in
- To improve the app based on aggregated usage patterns
Screen Time & Apple APIs
NeuroApp uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls APIs. Much of this data is processed on your device. Some summaries may be synced to our backend (Supabase) when you use signed-in features.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., authentication and cloud hosting) and as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain account and usage data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us at [YOUR_EMAIL].
Your Choices
- You can deny Screen Time permission; blocking and usage features will be limited.
- You can sign out at any time from Settings.
